What we treat
Headache treatment in Elephant & Castle, London
Many recurring headaches start in the neck. When that's the driver, treating the neck mechanics can reduce how often they hit and how hard.

Neck-driven (cervicogenic) headaches
Cervicogenic and tension-type headaches are referred from the joints and muscles of the upper neck. They often sit at the base of the skull, one side, or behind the eyes, and worsen with desk work, stress and sustained postures.
How we treat headaches
We assess the upper cervical spine and the muscles that refer pain into the head, then treat the restrictions and tension driving the pattern. Combined with practical changes to the loads that trigger them, many people get a meaningful drop in frequency and intensity.
Knowing the difference
Not every headache is mechanical. Part of the assessment is recognising headaches that need a different route — and we'll tell you straight if yours does.
